<h2>OpenOffice.org 2.4 downloaden</h2><br>OpenOffice.org 2.4 is niet de
nieuwste versie van OpenOffice.org! Deze blijft echter ter beschikking
voor diegenen die niet uit de voeten kunnen met <a href="downloaden.html">OpenOffice.org 3</a>.
Dit zal vooral&nbsp;het geval zijn bij gebruikers van Windows 98 of ME,
want die versies van Windows worden&nbsp;niet meer ondersteund door
OpenOffice.org 3. Mocht de reden zijn dat bepaalde functionaliteit in
OpenOffice.org 3 niet meer goed werkt en in&nbsp;versie 2.4 wel, meld
dat dan via&nbsp;een <a href="about-issuezilla.html">issue</a>, zodat het probleem kan worden opgelost. <br><p>De&nbsp;Nederlandstalige versie <b>OpenOffice.org
2.4.1</b> (binnenkort is ook 2.4.2 voor Windows beschikbaar)&nbsp; is er voor Windows (98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista), Linux
(x86), en OSX (x86). Voor Apple Mac OSX (PPC) en Solaris bestaan er
ook versies, maar die zijn&nbsp;niet getest en daarom niet vrijgegeven.
Meld je even als je hiervoor belangstelling hebt! De iets oudere versie
2.3.0 voor Mac OSX is nog te downloaden op <a href="downloaden_prev.html">deze pagina</a>. </p>
<p><b>Nieuw</b><br>
Ten opzichte van versie 2.3 zijn een aantal <a href="http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/New_Features_2.4">verbeteringen</a>
aangebracht. Zie het <a href="nieuw_nieuwsteversie.html">overzicht
van de nieuwe features</a>. Versie 2.4.1 was bedoeld om enkele
fouten in 2.4.0 te verbeteren maar er is nog een aardig lijstje met
<a href="http://development.openoffice.org/releases/2.4.1.html">
verschillen</a>. &nbsp;</p>
<p><b>Downloaden</b><br>
De downloadlinks voor deze versies vind je hieronder. Als je de
Windows- of Linuxversie downloadt, en niet weet of je een actuele Java
Runtime Environment op je
systeem hebt, kies dan voor de (iets grotere) versie "+JRE", die
installeert het meteen mee. Je kunt desgewenst de JRE ook <a href="http://www.java.com/nl">apart downloaden</a>. De
languagepacks zijn bedoeld voor gebruik met een reeds geïnstalleerde
versie OpenOffice.org van dezelfde versie, maar met een andere
interfacetaal, die je dan kunt omschakelen
naar het Nederlands en weer terug.</p>

Je kunt, om de mirrors te ontlasten, OpenOffice.org ook <a href="http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.html">downloaden
met Bittorrent</a>. Verwijzingen naar een
eventueel benodigde client vind je er ook.</p>

<p><b>Nederlandstalige spellingcontrole</b><br>
In OpenOffice.org 2.4 is de nieuwste spellingwoordenlijst van het
project <a href="http://www.opentaal.org">OpenTaal</a>
(versie 1.00G) opgenomen.

<p><b>OpenOffice.org op cd-rom</b><br>
Mocht je geen beschikking hebben over snel internet: er zijn
verschillende
aanbieders bij wie je OpenOffice.org kunt bestellen op <a href="cdrom.html">cd-rom</a>.</p>
<p><b>Andere versies</b><br>
Er bestaan ook versies voor onder andere Solaris (Sparc en x86), maar
die zijn door ons (nog) niet getest. Neem bij belangstelling hiervoor
even contact op!</p>

<p><b>Wie verzorgt de mirrors?</b><br>
Wanneer je op een van de bovenstaande downloadlinks klikt, wordt
automatisch een van de beschikbare mirrors uitgekozen. Dit zijn
internetservers die door diverse personen en organisaties voor dit doel
ter beschikking worden gesteld. Ter informatie worden er een
aantal in de onderstaande tabel genoemd.</p>
