<h2>Why sponsor OOoCon 2008?</h2>
<p>The Annual OpenOffice.org Conference (OooCon) is the main event of the
OpenOffice.org Community. Becoming a Sponsor of OooCon 2008 gives you a
unique opportunity to present your business, product and services to a
significant part of the OOo Community. You will be able to meet friends,
partners and customers as well making new contacts in the stimulating and
friendly atmosphere of this first class international conference.</p>
<h2>How to become a Sponsor of OOoCon 2008</h2>
<p>We offer three different sponsorship packages – please choose the one
best suited for your business needs:</p>
<h3>Platinum:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Colored double page advertisement in the conference program</li>
<li>Positioning of a large size booth at the conference venue</li>
<li>Three free reservations of up to one hour for the 'Sponsors
Lounge'</li>
<li>Extra large logo
<ul>
<li>at the conference website (with link to your product or
service)</li>
<li>at all sponsorship banners at the venue</li>
<li>in the conference program booklet</li>
<li>at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Sponsorship information included in all relevant press
releases</li>
<li>Special note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony</li>
<li>Up to two kilograms of your materials in the 'conference bag'</li>
</ul>
<p>A minimum donation of US$ 10,000 is requested to qualify for Platinum
Sponsorship Level.</p>
<h3>Gold:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Colored single page advertisement in the conference program</li>
<li>Positioning of a medium size booth at the conference venue</li>
<li>A free reservation of up to one hour for the 'Sponsors Lounge'</li>
<li>Large logo
<ul>
<li>at the conference website (with link to your product or
service)</li>
<li>at all sponsorship banners at the venue</li>
<li>in the conference program booklet</li>
<li>at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony</li>
<li>Up to one kilogram of your materials in the 'conference bag'</li>
</ul>
<p>A minimum donation of US$ 5,000 is requested to qualify for Gold
Sponsorship Level.</p>
<h3>Silver:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Colored half page advertisement in the conference program</li>
<li>Positioning of a small size booth at the conference venue</li>
<li>Logo
<ul>
<li>at the conference website (with link to your product or
service)</li>
<li>at all sponsorship banners at the venue</li>
<li>in the conference program booklet</li>
<li>at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony</li>
<li>Up to 500 grams of your material in the 'conference bag'</li>
</ul>
<p>A minimum donation of US$ 2,500 is requested to qualify for Silver
Sponsorship Level.</p>
<h3>Joint sponsorship:</h3>
<p>If you and a business partner want to exhibit or advertise jointly at
OOoCon we will try to find a custom solution for you. If, for example,
both of you decided to become a Gold Sponsor individually, then you would
be allowed to share the benefits of a Platinum Sponsorship Package, such
as joint use of the 'Sponsors Lounge', large size booth and double page
advertisement.</p>
<p>To secure your sponsorship, donations must be received in full by
19<sup>th</sup> September latest.</p>
<h3>Other sponsorship opportunities</h3>
<p>We are happy to consider other proposals you may have. For
example:</p>
<ul>
<li>sponsoring an entire conference track or day, with your marketing
messages displayed in the conference room</li>
<li>contributing facilities or equipment</li>
<li>sponsoring social events for conference attendees</li>
<li>sponsoring travel expenses (e.g. for financially disadvantaged
contributers)</li>
</ul>
<p>For these or any other suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact

<h2>How to apply to become a Sponsor?</h2>
<p>If you want to become a Sponsor of the OpenOffice.org Annual
Conference 2008 now, please contact Peter Junge (<a href=
