<p>The New Web Service Client wizard creates a new Web Service Client.</p>
<p>Use this page to specify the details of the local or remote domain by selecting one of the following options.</p>

<td align="left" headers="r5c1-t87 r1c2-t87">Select this option to specify the URL to a running web service's WSDL file. If you use a proxy server, you must click Proxy Settings and set the proxy host and port number, otherwise the IDE will not be able to download the WSDL file.</td>

<td align="left" headers="r7c1-t87 r1c2-t87">(Optional) Specify the package where the client files will be generated. The generated client files can be found in the Projects window, in the Generated Sources node of the client project, or in the Files window, within the <code dir="ltr">build</code> folder.
<p>If you do not specify a package name, the IDE generates the client files in the default package, which is based on the namespace in the WSDL. You can change this package name later in the WSDL Customization editor.</p>

<p>Generate Dispatch Code</p>

<td align="left" headers="r8c1-t87 r1c2-t87">If you want to use raw XML messages when invoking the web service, select Generate Dispatch Code. The client code is generated using the <code dir="ltr">java.xml.ws</code>.Dispatch interface instead of the usual service endpoint interface. This is an advanced feature and disabled by default.</td>
