<h1>New Team Project Wizard: Source Code and Issues</h1>

<p>The New Team Project wizard enables you to create a project on a Team Server. You open the wizard by choosing Team Server &gt; New Team Project from the Team menu.</p>
<p>The Source Code and Issues page enables you to set the properties related to the version control system and issue tracking system for the project.</p>
<p>In the Source Code and Issues page you need to set the following properties.</p>

If you are already using a Subversion or Mercurial repository but it is not on a Team Server, select External. If you select Subversion or Mercurial, you need to specify an empty folder to contain the local repository. The IDE initializes the local repository when you finish the wizard.</td>
