New Libraries Wizard: Library Folder

Use to set a folder to hold your Java classpath libraries or to hold references to those libraries. Setting a libraries folder makes it easier to share libraries among different users and projects.

On the New Library page, you set the folder. You can create a new folder or specify an existing folder that already contains copies of the libraries on which your project depends. You can reference the folder as a relative path or an absolute path. The default library folder location (
./lib
) is within your project folder at the same level as the
src
,
build
, and
dist
folders. You can change this to a location outside of the project, such as a folder that contains other projects.
