NetBeans.org and BlueJ.org are proud to announce the availability of the NetBeans IDE 5.5.1 BlueJ Edition. The BlueJ edition of the NetBeans IDE is targeted at teachers and students familiar with the popular BlueJ tool, and helps the latter "make the jump" from BlueJ to a full-featured IDE.
<br><br>
NetBeans IDE 5.5.1 BlueJ Edition is available in English and has been localized into simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese. The 5.5.1 version includes fixes of several bugs that were in the 5.0 version.</p><br style="clear:both;"/>

Sun's OpenOffice.org engineering team has developed a plug-in for building OpenOffice.org extensions. It is an easy to use set of wizards to create OpenOffice.org extensions that can be used to integrate new functionality, adopt existing functionality, and create Java applications that can remotely control <A HREF="http://www.openoffice.org/">OpenOffice.org</A>.
Everything is ready for you to start implementing OpenOffice.org extensions, including a Java code skeleton.</p>
