Hosting New Modules on netbeans.org

This page used to describe the old netbeans.org module hosting process.

If you are developing a new module for NetBeans IDE, in many cases the simplest
procedure is to host the module on java.net and just
register the module in the
Plugin Portal. See the guide to contributing modules to
the NetBeans project for more details.
