| .. note:: - For input ``n.5`` ``rint`` returns ``n`` while ``round`` returns ``n+1``. - For input ``-n.5`` both ``rint`` and ``round`` returns ``-n-1``. |

| The storage type of ``rint`` output depends upon the input storage type: |
