| <p style="color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', 'Lucida Grande', Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;">The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) has received a United States International Trade Commission</span><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;"> subpoena requiring the production of documents and testimony related to U.S. Patent No. 6,691,302</span><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;">.</span></p> |
| <p style="color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', 'Lucida Grande', Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;"><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline: none;" />The <a href="http://www.apache.org/legal/Inv-337-TA-925/2015-01-21-subpoena.pdf" title="subpoena">request</a> requires the Foundation to produce the required materials related to the above patent. </span><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;">Apache will, of course, be complying with all court requirements. As </span><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;">an open development group the majority of our documents are already </span><span style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;">publicly available.
