Finish porting all changes from 9.x to main since 9.0.0 to have a clean state between both branches. This will ease cherry-picking important changes between both branches as long as we are maintaining multiple versions in parallel. By doing so, we won't miss any bug fixes, which happened in 9.x in 10.x
