Add framework-free registry core (API/SPI) per dev-list consensus Following the dev-list consensus (Sept 2026, "Apache Sourcelume Registry repo creation, and initial discussion"): build the framework-independent Core/API first, layer runtime modules on top. - sourcelume-registry-typedefs: backend type definitions, unchanged from the spikes (framework-free JSON resources) - sourcelume-registry-common: DTOs mapped from sourcelume-spec, Jakarta Validation, exceptions, SpecResourceLoader; test dependencies swapped from the Quarkus test harness to plain JUnit 5 + Hibernate Validator (expressly EL for standalone bootstrapping) - no framework deps remain - sourcelume-registry-core (new): backend-neutral AtlasAdapter SPI moved from the spike's atlas-adapter module; only Sourcelume types in the interface, no backend SDK types Parent POM: plain Maven, Java 21, no framework BOM. Runtime modules (e.g. a Quarkus runtime with the thin REST AtlasAdapter) follow as separate modules on top of this core. Verified: mvn clean install on JDK 21 - 4/4 modules, 5/5 tests green. sourcelume-registry)The Apache Sourcelume Registry persists, indexes, and queries signed Sourcelume provenance records for AI training datasets.
Per the dev-list consensus (September 2026, thread “Apache Sourcelume Registry repo creation, and initial discussion”) the codebase is organized as a framework-independent Core/API with Runtime modules layered on top:
AtlasAdapter SPI; only Sourcelume types in the interface, no backend SDK types in the core| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
sourcelume-registry-typedefs | Backend type definitions (JSON resources) |
sourcelume-registry-common | DTOs mapped from sourcelume-spec, Jakarta Validation annotations, exceptions, spec resource loader — framework-free (Jakarta API + Jackson only) |
sourcelume-registry-core | Backend-neutral AtlasAdapter SPI (API) — no framework, no backend SDK dependencies |
Runtime modules (for example a Quarkus runtime providing a thin REST AtlasAdapter implementation, startup bootstrap, and health checks) build on this core as separate modules.
Requires JDK 21 and Maven 3.9+. The sourcelume-spec artifact must be available (build apache/sourcelume-spec first with mvn install, see its SETUP.md).
mvn clean install
