The Apache AsterixDB Project is a scalable big data management system (BDMS) that provides storage, management, and query capabilities for large collections of semi-structured data.
2015-02-28 Project enters incubation.
2015-09-22 Release: Hyracks 0.2.16-incubating.
2015-10-20 New committer: Chris Hillery.
2015-10-22 Release: AsterixDB 0.8.7-incubating.
2016-01-16 New committer: Heri Ramampiaro.
2016-02-26 Release: AsterixDB 0.8.8-incubating and Hyracks 0.2.17-incubating.
2016-03-28 New committer: Michael Blow.
2016-04-20 ASF Board establishes the Apache AsterixDB project.

Have all of the active long-term volunteers been identified and acknowledged as committers on the project?
Are there three or more independent committers? (The legal definition of independent is long and boring, but basically it means that there is no binding relationship between the individuals, such as a shared employer, that is capable of overriding their free will as individuals, directly or indirectly.)
Are project decisions being made in public by the committers?
Are the decision-making guidelines published and agreed to by all of the committers?
