A single failed write
failed the whole lease operation, so a short outage of an
S3-compatible store was enough to fail it.

Wrap the write in RetryUtils.executeIOWithRetry, with the same settings
ProducerOffsetsStore uses for its offsets files: 3 attempts, 100 ms
initial backoff, at most 1000 ms.

The file path contains a random UUID, so the caller now resolves it once
before the write. Every retry overwrites the same file. The path is also
added to createdFiles before the write, so the cleanup on failure deletes
a partially written file.
[server][rpc] Support DescribeTabletServers API for safe scaling and upgrades (#3743)

Add a read-only DescribeTabletServers RPC to the Coordinator, following
the pattern of GetClusterHealth (#3399). It returns, per tablet server,
the same four counters getClusterHealth() reports cluster-wide, scoped
to that server: numReplicas, inSyncReplicas, numLeaderReplicas and
activeLeaderReplicas. It also returns leaderlessReplicas: the number of
replicas on that server whose bucket has no elected leader.

This lets operational tooling (e.g. the Fluss Kubernetes Operator):
- gate scale-in on a server being empty (numReplicas == 0),
- gate rolling upgrades on a per-server green predicate
 (inSyncReplicas == numReplicas && activeLeaderReplicas == numLeaderReplicas
 && leaderlessReplicas == 0),
- report per-server tablet load in cluster status.

Every reported server is green exactly when getClusterHealth() reports
GREEN, so a single response is enough for a rolling-upgrade gate.

The counters are computed from in-memory CoordinatorContext state on
the coordinator event thread via AccessContextEvent. Tablet servers
forward the request to the coordinator. Live and shutting-down servers
are always reported, even with zero replicas, and dead servers that
still hold assigned replicas remain visible so a scale-in gate cannot
treat them as drained.

Closes #3570
[FIP-29][rpc] Wire TLS encryption into the server Netty pipeline (#4644)

Listeners named in security.ssl.enabled.listeners now encrypt their
connections: the server channel initializer adds an SslHandler first in
the pipeline, so framing and authentication run inside TLS. The server
SSL context is built once in FlussProtocolPlugin#setup, so invalid TLS
settings fail the server at startup, and a name in
security.ssl.enabled.listeners that matches no listener is rejected
rather than leaving the intended listener on plaintext.

Servers still connect to each other without TLS until the client side
supports it (#3797), so setup also rejects TLS on the internal
listener instead of letting requests between servers fail at runtime.

SslHandler accepts only ByteBufs, while the log fetch path writes
file-backed records as a zero-copy FileRegion. TlsFileRegionHandler
copies those regions into 32 KiB ByteBuf chunks, reading the next chunk
only while the channel is writable, so a connection buffers about the
write-buffer high-water mark rather than the whole fetch response. A
failed chunk copy closes the connection, since part of the response may
already be sent. TLS listeners give up zero-copy log fetches; plaintext
listeners keep it.
[rust] Preserve write request order across asynchronous dispatch (#4733)

With idempotence enabled the server validates batch_sequence per
(writer_id, bucket) in arrival order, so a request that reaches a tablet
server before its predecessor is rejected with OutOfOrderSequenceException
and the writer id is reset, dropping the exactly-once guarantee for
everything already sent under it.

The sender used to turn every drained request into a future that connected,
built, wrote and awaited its own response, all polled concurrently in one
FuturesUnordered. Cold connection setup, the connection write lock and the
Tokio cooperative budget then decided which frame was written first, so a
successor could reach the wire before the batch holding the previous
sequence.

Ordering is established by SendQueues, one drained round and one dispatch
slot per node. Draining only enqueues; a round acquires its node's
connection once and writes that node's table requests in order, and the slot
is released when the last frame has been written rather than when responses
arrive, so up to max-inflight-requests-per-bucket requests per bucket stay
in flight and ACK handling remains concurrent. Connecting once per round
also keeps an unreachable node at one connect timeout instead of one per
table. A node with a queued or dispatching round is not drained again, which
keeps the accumulator's memory budget and retry ordering. Shutdown uses the
same loop and finishes only once queued rounds, dispatches and responses are
drained, so retries triggered during close are still processed.

ServerConnection::request is split into dispatch_request, which returns a
PendingResponse once the frame is written, so the sender can free the node
without holding the connection write lock across the round trip. Cancellation
still unregisters the request, and a cancelled partial write still poisons
the connection before the lock is handed to another request.

Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com>"

As in Kafka, a pattern or replacement may
contain an escaped slash (/).

Unsupported or invalid rules are rejected when parsed, so the server can
fail at startup: a replacement referring to a group the pattern lacks, a
named group reference, or an invalid regex. A name that no rule applies
to raises the checked NoMatchingRuleException, which the mTLS
authenticator (#3793) turns into an AuthenticationException. An empty
mapped name does not apply, so no empty principal is produced."
