I'm running an angular app using cordova, and I see a strange behavior where a http request is returning as failed but the server never got the request. It might be related to the fact that the app went to the background right after starting to send the request? Has anyone encountered such issue?

Android is where I saw this, but it might be both...

hmm not sure... on iOS I was gunna suggest the fact that the webview gets paused when the app goes into the background might play a role -- but I'm not entirely sure on that either.

Requests that don’t reach the server are usually misconfigurations of CSP or allow-list plugin. Sometimes CORS, they reach but it’s a preflight request that might not be seen on the server if you only expect get/post

The problem occurred in bad reception conditions, it does not happen all the time so I don‘t think it’s a configuration issue...
