Change how simulated annealing affects the transformed simplex (cf. MATH-1622). Compared with commit 97462b1a1b6f64ab10e06db331d5b6762d979aab, this commit is more consistent with assumptions of the original (non-hybridized) algorithm.
“Commons Math” is undergoing major changes towards the next release (4.0):

You can download source and binaries from our download page.
Please note that the last official version (3.6.1) is quite old and not supported anymore. Bug reports should be filed against the current development version.
We accept Pull Requests via GitHub. The developer mailing list is the main channel of communication for contributors. There are some guidelines which will make applying PRs easier for us:
